JB4 Map Guide
Map 0: Disable JB4 / Full Pass Through Mode
Map 1: Stage1 map adding approximately 40whp and 40wtq across the power band on pump gas. Suitable for all stages and fuel mixtures.
Map 2: Slightly more aggressive version of map 1 intended for vehicles with exhaust modifications and 93+ octane fuel. Can also be used with E85 and racing fuel mixtures.
Map 3: Slightly less aggressive version of map 1 intended for vehicles running on lower grade fuels such as 91 octane.
Map 4: OEM performance but with JB4 active for diagnostics only.
Map 5: //M low torque / linear throttle map.
Map 6: Custom tuning map.
Map 7: Race gas map. Requires 100 octane unleaded fuel and for the fuel mass connector to be installed. This map can also be used with up to 35% E85.
Map 8: Methanol injection map. Requires BMS FSB controller or methanol kit for progressive mapping and safety systems.

ARP 1.8T Head Stud Kit 10mm

A good quality head stud kit for the 1.8t engine. This engine is a tricky one to make studs for because of the very tight access to the nuts. ARP has finally launched a stud kit in addition to their bolt kit for this engine. The studs offer easier assembly, and are only loaded with minimum torsion when they are tightened. The spacers were developed to produce the great atmospheric BOV sound is expected from your turbocharged vehicle, although normally lacking on your vehicle, This CNC machined spacer gives you that sound you have been looking for. When letting off the throttle you get that sweet and satisfying “whoosh” letting everyone know your Mercedes is in fact turbocharged. It has been designed to work with the original electrically controlled solenoid and utilizes high quality o-rings for a perfect seal. Mercedes equipped your car from the factory with a recirculating style turbocharger valve which allows the charge air to be routed around the turbocharger from the boost side back to the intake side. The downside to this style of system is it recirculates the hot air back into the intake side of the turbo, increasing temperatures. When equipping a vehicle with a Blow Off Adaptor like ours, it helps remedy this issue. This great solution for open air venting includes everything you will need for the install.

Installation

Installation consists of simply plugging the 6-Pin connector already included on the CM5 / CM5-LT Input/Output wire adapter into the Bluetooth Module.

Note: The Bluetooth Module does not need to be mounted in a visible location in the vehicle, but it shouldn’t be obstructed by large pieces of metal that may interfere with the wireless link.
